Our Story

Larry Martin opened Trinity Discount Drugs on April 3, 1978. Larry overcame many hardships to become a pharmacist and pursue his dream of pharmacy ownership. Born with a cardiac abnormality that required many extensive and innovative surgeries, Larry often found himself short of breath and struggling to walk in his youth. As such, he developed the tenacity to handle the many barriers that stood between himself and success. He was a man of dignity, honesty, and tenacity. Larry's patients knew he would always put their needs before his own, even in the middle of the night. He poured as much of himself into all those around him prior to his passing in 2022.

Ben Moultrie considers himself blessed beyond measure for the opportunity to work with Larry Martin and to purchase his beloved Trinity Discount Drugs in 2012. No matter the need, Ben soon found that Larry would care for him much like he cared for his patients. Forever in his debt, it is the sincerest desire of Ben and the staff of Trinity Discount Drugs that the mission of Larry Martin be furthered. Our goal is to put patients' needs so far in front of our own and to advance patient care to a point where it is undeniable that we are carrying the torch for Larry, and furthering his life's work.

As a means to brighten the flame of our torch, we formed Moultrie Family Pharmacies. First expanding into the Langtown community of Lawrence County, AL in 2017, and into the Caddo community in 2021. We hope to serve as a beacon of good health, honor, and integrity as we carry the torch for Larry into new communities. At Moultrie Family Pharmacies, we're Here For You; just as Larry was here for us.
